Kuna Athletic Club - Sports & Activity Club

ABOUT US

Our names are Anthony and Natalie Jangula. We are a married couple with eight children, some are grown and some are still growing! Family and children are the most important things to us. We have raised our kids in sports, have a love for teaching the fundamental skills in athletics, and are passionate about helping children grow through sports. Athletics instills confidence and provides character-building opportunities that the youth can utilize for the rest of their lives. We strive to promote a success mindset through belief, positive reinforcement, motivation, and hard work. Each After School Camp session includes four weeks of camps. We will introduce new sports and learn new skills each week, and with each new session, we will continue to build upon some of the things we have already learned! This is meant to be a continual program for your children, so they can stay active and try new things often. Come join us for our programs!

Coach Natalie

My name is Natalie Jangula, and one of my biggest accomplishments is being a mother to eight children. I absolutely adore kids. Most of my children have been involved in sports and athletics their whole lives, and I have been very involved in coaching, watching, encouraging, cheering them on, and chauffeuring them to their activities. I have been blessed with the opportunity to coach my daughter in our local club basketball program for several years, and it is something I love doing. I also enjoy directing camps for the younger children through our Kuna Athletic Club! Being a lifelong athlete myself, I know the life lessons that can be learned through sports and athletics. Listening skills, following directions, being a team player, self-discipline and self-belief are imperative qualities for success in many aspects of life. Growing up, my parents told me that I could accomplish anything I set my mind to and worked hard for, and I have lived by that motto ever since. Because I believed this and worked hard, I was able to play varsity sports through all four years of high school, I set several school and district records, earned several state awards, was a National Nominee for the High School Heisman award, and was even invited to play basketball and run in college, as well as internationally, in Europe, as a People to People Sports Ambassador, representing the United States. I was able to achieve this recognition all while graduating with high honors from high school. I truly believed I could accomplish anything, and I want all children to have the same belief in themselves. My life took a different turn once graduation came, and I married young and started my family. I have been in love with being a mom ever since! I am thrilled with the opportunity to work with and teach your children, and I look forward to helping them believe in themselves, too. Thank you for trusting me.

Coach A

My name is Anthony Jangula. Family is the most important thing to me, and I love children. I met Natalie when she was a single mom of five young boys, and jumped into being a dad before I had a chance to really think about it! I am grateful for that experience, and I definitely wouldn't change it. I've experienced many blessings through watching those boys succeed in life. You will often find me filming and coaching them from the side of the field or court, and our conversations about their hard work have been invaluable. Natalie and I welcomed three more children into the world, and you will often see her and I playing in the driveway and front yard with all our kids, shooting hoops, playing tennis, kicking a soccer ball, or throwing a football or baseball with them. Coaching and instructing kids is very fulfilling. I took on the responsibility of coaching one of our boy's club basketball teams and learned a lot about coaching teenagers. They taught me a great lesson in patience! During my youth and through high school, I played football, basketball, tennis, soccer, and anything else I could play, depending on the season. I love watching professional sports, especially football and soccer. I really enjoy teaching fundamental skills in all different sports, and I have experience with many different activities. I have a competitive nature, and I have a passion for encouraging all children to work hard and believe in themselves. I know that sports and athletics can help people be healthy in more than just a physical way. The mental health and rewards that come from participating in sports are immeasurable. I'm looking forward to getting to know you and your children through this program.
